My Voice, Our Equal Future
Girls are leaders. Girls are change-makers. Girls are fundamental source of transformational change for gender equality, and technology is a crucial tool to support their work, activism and leadership.
This October 11th, 2021 Wise Women With Initiative (WWWi) stand with other agencies, civil society, and girls around the world to celebrate International Day of the Girl Child under the theme “Digital generation. Our generation.” Together, we’re calling for equal access to the internet, digital devices and targeted investments to facilitate opportunities for girls to safely and meaningfully access, use, lead and design technology.
We the Wise Women has embarked on a project themed ‘’Train A Girl Child’’ this had enabled us to join other organizations in bridging the gap on girl child illiteracy and more inclusion of women in decision making roles. We believe that to enable us to achieve this goal we need to start from the foundation which is to train and equip the girl child with the necessary skills and capacity.
We, therefore, call on Government and Non-Government bodies, Societies and Individuals to join us in driving this dream to reality.
